RAL AND ICA COLOR CHARTS – PURCHASE OF SAMPLE BOOKS

Note! Please note that the same photo will be displayed in different colours on each monitor. PURCHASE ORDER LEAD TIME, SHIPPING TIME, COMPLAINT TIME, COMPLEMENTARY ORDER, RETURNING ORDERS, CANCELLATION

  • purchase order lead time – the purchase order lead time depends on the kitchen model selected. The average time for laminate, acrylic and wood imitation kitchens is about 1.5 months, while for furniture with a lacquered door (matte or high gloss) about 2 months. The maximum purchase order lead time for each model on our offer is up to 60 working days, so please be prepared for this date when ordering furniture from us. This time may be shorter, unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee faster order processing. The order is influenced by many external factors, such as production resources, time taken to make special components (a worktop, a furniture board, lacquered doors).

LACQUER – the purchase order lead time is usually 2.5 months and depends on a technique of manufacturing doors. The cabinets consist of several to dozens of components, which is why their proper production takes time. In lacquered kitchens, the time cannot be reduced because the doors are made individually at request – they are lacquered in a colour selected by a Purchaser. It is a high quality Product, which takes time to make.

  • shipping time – order shipping time is 3-14 working days on average, depending on the option of transport. For pallet shipping this time is about 3-5 working days, for delivery by the shipping company it is 5-14 working days. Not all items can be shipped with a pack or pallet – the size and weight of the item are crucial.

  • how we deliver furniture to Customers – orders are sent by a shipping company (long items such as worktops, furniture boards, chairs, tables, room furniture) or pallet shipping (kitchen sets).

  • complaint time – the complaint can take about 10-60 working days to process. This time depends on the type of damage/defect. In order to shorten this time, we try to have "in-stock" components to be able to deliver the defective item quicker. Unfortunately, we are unable to be prepared for each complaint; custom-made items (furniture board, worktops, lacquered doors) are made for a specific order and we need to obtain them again.

  • complementary order of furniture and the purchase order lead time – we shall not be able to add any items to the order that is already processed. We can accept an order for additional components as a separate order which shall entail an additional transport cost. We can also cancel an order that is already processed and re-enter it to the system with changes. In this case, the purchase order lead time shall run from the change date.

  • return of lacquered, laminate and acrylic furniture, special-order items – special-order items, made in accordance with Purchaser’s preference, are non-refundable (such items are lacquered doors, furniture boards, worktops, other customer-specific items). Components such as carcases, laminate or acrylic doors can be returned – the return parts cannot be assembled and must not show any signs of use. Note! The refund for returned items of full value is transferred to the account after having checked the item returned to us in quantitative and qualitative terms. The cost of transporting the returned items is borne by the returning party (see the return procedure).

  • order cancelation – the order can be cancelled at any time; in the case of an advance payment for items made to order it is non-refundable. Components such as carcases, laminate or acrylic doors can be returned – the return parts cannot be assembled and must not show any signs of use.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER, CHANGES TO THE ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED

There are four different ways to purchase kitchen furniture:

  • Method 1. Arranging your set on our website – k-4you.eu. When on the website, simply click on the Single Kitchen Cabinets tab and add the necessary cabinets, worktops and accessories to the cart.

  • Method 2. Placing the order by e-mail. All you have to do is select one of the three Customer Advisors. List all the kitchen cabinets, their colours, worktops and accessories you want to use.

NOTE! We shall not be able to add any items to the order that is already processed.

We can accept an order for additional components as a separate order which shall entail an additional transport cost. We can also cancel an order that is already processed and re-enter it to the system with changes. In this case the purchase order lead time shall run from the change date.

ASSEMBLY AND MEASUREMENTS

Due to the lack of sufficient staff in our company, we do not offer space measurement and assembly of purchased furniture. Our store is mainly based on the online sale of modular cabinets for self-assembly. Each cabinets is supplied with clear and transparent assembly manual.

HOW TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER ADVISOR – YOU CHOOSE ONE, YOU STAY WITH ONE – THE LEADING ADVISOR

Maintaining correspondence with one person shall help avoid unnecessary misunderstanding or errors in the order. In addition, an e-mail thread shall facilitate the search for the necessary information while refining the offer. In order to prepare a possible order efficiently, we suggest that you chose one of the available Customer Advisors.

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE A READY SET OR ARRANGE ONE ON MY OWN?

You can or even should arrange your set. Simply write which cabinets you want to purchase and we will help you choose the cabinets that perfectly fill your space.

WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I PROVIDE TO OBTAIN A FULL QUOTE?

To prepare a quote, we need information on the space where the kitchen set will be fitted, that is wall dimensions, recesses, windows, chimneys, doors, and connections. Information on the household appliances (a sink, a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a hob, a hood, a fridge) such as their dimensions and whether they are built-in or stand-alone is also required. If you have an initial outline of your kitchen layout or inspiration, you can also attach it. It is important that we know what effect you want to achieve. Please note that we do not take responsibility for the accuracy of your space measurements.

E-MAIL WITH A QUOTE – IT IS NOT AN ORDER, IT IS AN OFFER

Please note that a quote sent to the e-mail address provided or made in person in the office is not equivalent to placing an order. A quote is an offer that is presented to a Purchaser to check the quantity and type of items. The quote becomes an order only after the formal confirmation of the order, then you shall be provided with an individual order number. If you do not have such a number, your order is not processed yet. The average time for a quote is about 1-5 working days – it is a question of refining all the components and introducing any amendments. The quote we provide is valid for 14 calendar days. After that time the price for the selected items need to be recalculated.

DESIGN VS.VISUALISATION

We do not carry out kitchen designs but only visualisations Visualisation is a graphic representation of the layout of the cabinets provided by the Customer. On our website you find the Product data sheet of a given kitchen with all available models and cabinet dimensions. We do not have a program in which the Customer can create their own kitchen.
Visualisation is only of an illustrative nature and does not constitute a commercial offer within the meaning of Article 66 § 1 of the Civil Code and other relevant legal provisions.

COLOURS OF KITCHEN FURNITURE

HOW TO CHECK THE PROGRESS OF MY ORDER?

It is best to contact the Customer Advisor who has accepted the order. Your Customer Advisor knows best at what stage the order is. You can make such an inquiry by phone or e-mail. The Advisor who has accepted your order shall check it with the warehouse. You receive information on average within 2-5 working days.

The earliest information about the order placed is available after:

  • about three weeks from placing an order and/or an advance payment to the bank account – in the case of a laminate kitchen;

  • about six weeks from an advance payment to the bank account – in the case of a lacquered kitchen.


CAN I HAVE A DIFFERENT PRODUCT NAME THAN KITCHEN FURNITURE ON MY INVOICE?

It is not possible. The invoice is linked to a warehouse document such as a delivery note (WZ). We are not allowed to change items on the document (such a change results in the lack of a clear message to complete the order).

PAYMENT FOR THE ORDER, ADVANCE PAYMENT, PICKUP BY THIRD PARTIES

  • advance payment – an advance payment is required for items that are made to order according to the Customer’s specifications (worktops, furniture boards, lacquered doors); we shall inform you of the advance payment and its amount if required. The advance payment is non-refundable.

  • picking up the order by third parties – if you choose your courier to collect the order, you need to provide their details such as a name or a company name, and a car license plate number. Personal pickups have to be notified at least one day prior to a scheduled pickup. Payment for collected furniture is only possible in cash. Persons who do not meet the above conditions shall not be served.


If the order is collected by third parties, payment of prepayment or cash shall be made on the date of a pickup by a person named to us and the license plate number of a car collecting the Products is also required.

PERSONAL PICKUP OF ORDER

Furniture can be collected from our warehouse in person.

The warehouse is located in Piaskowo near Szamotuły, 43A W. Jagiełły Street, 64-500 Poland. The warehouse is open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Personal pickups are released exclusively to authorised persons, that is having an order number or an appropriate authorisation issued by the person who placed the order.

If you choose your courier to collect the order, you need to provide their details such as a name or a company name and car a license plate number.

Personal pickups have to be notified at least one day prior to a scheduled pickup.

Payment for collected furniture is only possible in cash. Persons who do not meet the above conditions shall not be served.

WHAT DO I GET WITH A CABINET?

Each cabinet has the necessary components for its assembly.

  • along with the wall cabinet you receive a complete wall cabinet with adjustable hangers; 36 cm and 72 cm high cabinets (not applicable to 96 cm cabinets) – with small sections of the mounting rail. For more efficient fitting, we advise to purchase a 200 cm long mounting rail – see the Accessories tab.

  • along with the base cabinet you receive a complete base cabinet with feet and skirting, the cabinets are not equipped with a worktop – worktops constitute an additional offer – see the Worktops tab for details. For base cabinets, you can purchase a gasket and 200 cm skirting for own adjustment. Such skirting is more aesthetic.

  • along with a high tower cabinet you receive a complete base cabinet with feet and skirting; the fridge’s built-in cabinet is equipped with a ventilation grille placed in skirting.

It is worth purchasing a joining kit, which makes the kitchen more stable. Connecting the cabinets together prevents possible gaps.

The package does not include handles. Handles must be purchased separately. 

CAN I PURCHASE HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES FROM YOU?

It is not possible. We do not offer household appliances. Such components need to be purchased on your own.

MODIFICATIONS OF KITCHEN FURNITURE – SHOULD I DO IT MYSELF OR YOU DO IT FOR ME?

At the Customer's request, we can make minor modifications, such as a special size cabinet, e.g., a 28 cm wide base cabinet.*

All other modifications such as adaptations to a hood, a sink, a hob or a washing machine should be done on your own. As far as possible, we can obtain some components for a fee, such as a single hinge, a door, a handle, a foot, a cabinet side.

*This option is not available for every model – ask your Customer Advisor for details.

CATALOGUE AND PRODUCT DATA SHEETS

The catalogue, the product data sheets or the accessories catalogue do not constitute a commercial offer within the meaning of the law and are published only for information purposes. Pursuing the policy of continuous development, we reserve the right to change and improve the Products presented in the catalogue without prior notice. The colours presented in the catalogue, the product data sheets and the accessories catalogue may differ from the actual ones. We reserve the right to make mistakes.

LACQUER, LAMINATE OR ACRYLIC? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM

Each of the above-mentioned doors is of very good quality – they differ in the door thickness and finish.

  • lacquered doors are 19 mm thick, doors are made of MDF board and covered with three layers of primer and three layers of lacquer. The largest colour range of over 200 is available for lacquered doors! You can choose a shade that is perfect for you. The lacquer is sprayed onto the door, thus there are no unsightly connection lines at the edges; the cabinet doors are evenly covered with the colour of your choice. Due to their technology, lacquered doors are made the longest. In the case of lacquered doors there is also a risk of a different shade (e.g., in the case of a complementary order of a cabinet after about two weeks after the original order). High gloss and matte finishes are the available options for lacquered doors.

  • laminate doors are 16 mm thick (not applicable to MAGNUM/NANCY series), the doors are made of MDF board, the edges are slightly rounded, so that the colour laminate is completely seamless. In the case of laminate doors, there is a strictly defined colour range – each of the series we offer clearly defines what colours are available. For technological reasons of door manufacturing (the laminate is applied to the board under high pressure) there is a risk of obtaining a door with a slightly curved surface – this problem can occur on large doors, e.g., fridge doors. Correct adjustment of hinge tightening should solve this issue. Laminate doors are cost-effective, ideal for the rental rooms – in the event of mechanical door damage, single pieces can be purchased without any visible colour differences. These doors are mass-produced, which is a great advantage – you do not need to wait for them as long as in the case of lacquered doors. High gloss and matte finishes are available options for laminate doors.

  • acrylic doors are 18mm thick, they are made of MDF board. Acrylic is applied to each edge separately; the door edges are finished with acrylic HPL edging. High gloss and matt finish is the only available option for acrylic door. Acrylic doors are enriched with silver ions, so they are not subject to the oxidation process – they exhibit anti-bacterial effects and their colour will remain beautiful for a long time. The acrylic coating is the most scratch- and impact-resistant.

DRAWERS (types of slides)

  • Blum Metabox – partial extension drawers, no soft-close mechanism, metal sides of the slides, light grey, max. load capacity up to 30 kg, solid.

The proven BLUMOTION function can be applied to the METABOX partial extension drawer (this is an additional brake to be installed). Regardless of the closing speed and the weight of the contents, the drawer closes silently and gently. The solution is practical and cost-effective.

  • Rejs COMFORTBOX – full extension drawers, a soft-close mechanism built into the slides, metal, thin-walled sides of the slides, white, max. load capacity up to 35 kg, solid.

An additional advantage of the slides is invisible installation. Mounting elements are hidden under the drawer bottom, giving the piece of furniture an aesthetic look. Loaded even to the maximum load capacity (35 kg), they work smoothly and move gently. These spacious drawers with a high load capacity are an excellent solution for the kitchen to store all products and kitchen accessories, such as drawer inserts.

  • Hettich InnoTech Atira – full extension drawers, a soft-close mechanism built into the metal sides of the slides, charcoal, max. load capacity up to 30 kg, solid.

Perfect, expressive language of form meets proven technology. InnoTech Atira is a unique design with great potential and excellent functional properties.

HANDLES? CAN I PLACE A COMPLEMENTARY ORDER FOR SOME OTHERS?

You can purchase any of our range of handles (see the Accessories tab). Laminate, acrylic and wood-like doors have drilled holes for a handle on the inside of the cabinet (not visible on the colour side), they do not interfere when mounting other handles even beyond our offer, while lacquered doors need to be drilled for each of the handles.

CORNER CABINETS, MEASUREMENTS

If you plan to build an L- or U-shaped kitchen, start measuring the cabinets according to the dimensions of the worktops indicated at the corner cabinet.

When placing corner cabinets, it is necessary to maintain adequate distances to measure cabinets correctly.

  • The dimensions of D12 90: the carcase 84 cm x 84 cm, with the worktop is 90 cm x 90 cm

  • The dimensions of D12R 90: the carcase 84 cm x 84 cm, with the worktop it is 90 cm x 90 cm

  • The dimensions of D13U: the carcase 50 cm x 90 cm, with the worktop as much as 63 cm x 105 cm

WHAT IS AVENTOS?

The AVENTOS cabinet is a cabinet with a very characteristic opening system.

We offer two systems:

Aventos HK opening for 36 cm high wall cabinets – the door lifting arm is equipped with a soft-close mechanism, which prevents the cabinet door from falling with a snap.

Aventos HF opening for 72 cm high wall cabinets – this is a lifting arm with a characteristic fold. This system allows the doors to be lifted comfortably. The system is equipped with a soft-close mechanism, which prevents the door from falling with a snap.

The Aventos HK/HF system is available only for 60, 80 and 90 cm wide cabinets.

INSTALLATION OF A DISHWASHER, THE DOOR OF A DISHWASHER

We do not offer carcases for dishwashers – only doors mounted to its door. The dishwasher should be placed between the furniture and built in with the purchased doors and a worktop. All the components necessary to screw the door to the dishwasher can be found with the dishwasher purchased – each household appliances manufacturers explains what is necessary to install the appliance in the equipment installation manual.

WE DO NOT SELL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES. Please contact a household appliance store for the installation of the household appliance; consult with the seller who has the necessary dimensions to help you arrange the equipment in cabinets, e.g. check if you can install a microwave or a hob.

INSTALLATION OF A CARGO BASKET

The cargo baskets we offer come from REJS manufacturer – detailed instructions and installation videos can be found on their YOUTUBE channel. There is a step-by-step presentation of the installation of cargo baskets.

SKIRTING AND ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO PURCHASE

The necessary components for the correct fitting of the cabinets are a mounting rail, skirting and a gasket. The full range of accessories can be found in the Accessories tab. If you do not know what additional components should be purchased or you have a problem with calculating their quantity, please contact us – we will advise you which accessories pay attention to.

DO THE LAMINATES (CARCASES AND DOORS) HAVE THEIR EQUIVALENTS IN THE RAL K7 AND ICA CHARTS?

No, they do not. Their manufacturing uses different products that do not have their charts equivalents. We can help you find the most similar shade on the basis of similarity.

CAN I GET SAMPLE BOOKS OF DOORS AND WORKTOPS?

We are unable to send samples of doors, worktops and handles. All these sample books are available in our office. You can make an appointment by phone.

As far as possible, we can prepare photos of a sample book if we have one. *

* Due to the large number of colours of lacquered doors, the sample book does not include all the colours; for the lacquered series we mainly use the RAL K7 or ICA charts.

A CABINET WITH A DRAINER – IS IT ON OFFER?

We do not offer cabinets with a drainer. You can purchase an ordinary cabinet for own adjustment for a drainer. The drainer need to be purchased on your own.

WASTE BIN CABINETS

We offer two waste bins cabinets:

D1D 60 cabinet + MAXIMA waste bin – it is a 60 cm wide cabinet with four waste bins of 2x8l and 2x18l. The slide is mounted in about ⅔ of the height of the cabinet. MAXIMA slides should be mounted in the carcase by the Customer in accordance with the installation manual provided;

D1ZM/D1ZE/D1ZR 60 cabinet is a 60 cm wide cabinet with a slide mounted at the bottom. PRAKTIKO waste bins can be purchased for this cabinet. These are two 18l waste bins.

D1ZM/D1ZE/D1ZR 80 cabinet is a 80 cm wide cabinet with a slide mounted at the bottom. PRAKTIKO waste bins can be purchased for this cabinet. Not available in all series.

In addition, we offer waste bins JC 601/602, which can be mounted, e.g., in the middle of D8Z 80 cabinet; the minimum cabinet in which they can be placed is D1D 40 cabinet.

CAN I BUILD THE KITCHEN UP TO THE CEILING?

All depends on the size of the space (its height). We offer a range of modular furniture from which you create your set. If the dimensions allow, you can build your kitchen up to the ceiling. It is best to contact your Customer Advisor to discuss the details.

CAN I ORDER DOORS ONLY?

Yes, only doors can be ordered (lacquered, laminate, acrylic) – individual doors are not available in our store, but you can place an e-mail order for them.

CAN I ORDER CARCASES ONLY?

Yes, only carcases can be ordered – individual carcases are not available in our store, but you can place an e-mail order for them.
