Safety Information for Kitchen Furniture Sets
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR)
The safety of our users is our top priority. Please read the following safety information carefully to ensure the proper installation, use, and maintenance of your kitchen furniture set.
- Assembly and Installation
- Always assemble the furniture according to the manufacturer's instructions. Incorrect assembly may result in tipping or damage to the furniture.
- Pay special attention to wall-mounted cabinets. Ensure the wall is suitable for the intended load. Only use the recommended plugs and screws.
- Do not make structural modifications. Any alterations may affect the stability and safety of the furniture.
- Use
- Do not overload shelves or drawers. Exceeding the maximum load capacity may cause damage or accidents.
- Use caution when operating corner mechanisms (e.g. rotating or pull-out systems). Ensure that they move smoothly and do not pose a risk of finger entrapment.
- Regularly inspect hinges, runners, and other fittings. Tighten any loose components. Replace damaged parts in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Child Safety
- Secure cabinets containing hazardous items (e.g. cleaning agents, sharp tools, medications) with appropriate child safety locks.
- Do not allow children to climb on the furniture — this may lead to tipping and injury.
- Always store dangerous substances out of reach of children.
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Use only mild cleaning agents in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Avoid strong detergents and abrasive products.
- Take care of wooden and laminated surfaces. Protect them from excessive moisture and high temperatures.
- Avoid prolonged contact of surfaces with water. This may lead to swelling or warping of the materials.
- Hazards and SafetyPrecautions
- Do not place hot pots or pans directly on the worktop. Always use protective pads.
- Do not use sharp tools directly on furniture surfaces — this may cause permanent damage.
- Ensure adequate lighting in the kitchen, especially in work areas, to prevent tripping or injury.
- Special Elements – AdditionalWarnings
- For furniture with glass components, regularly check for cracks or damage. Replace any broken or damaged glass immediately.
- Free-standing cabinets must be secured against tipping. Fixing them to the wall is strongly recommended.
- In Case of RiskorDamage
